At Nethergate Academy we value the partnerships between home and school. 

Evidence for Learning is an online platform which allows teachers to share 'in the moment' learning and progress with families.

Each family has a unique login which allows them to access their child's online learning journal, using the EfL Family app. The app can be downloaded to a mobile phone or home device.

Class teachers share daily updates from school and welcome families to comment and contribute. We also encourage families to post photos and videos from home, sharing experiences and achievements with teachers so that they can better understand children's individual needs and next steps.

We run regular coffee mornings supporting families to access and use the app.

In addition, the Academy uses EfL to track progress over time and provide accurate data supported by media evidence. The online journal provides an overview of every child's journey here at Nethergate.
